When songwriting is not only an ability but an art. I'm holding my breath to what these guys will create in the next years. Favorite track: De Dämon us Levania.

Ippocalyptica This is a highly-energetic, tightly-composed, and sufficiently-aggressive melodic black metal album released in 2019 while channeling the spirit and sound of the very best of second-wave Norwegian black metal (think Emperor, Enslaved, and Satyricon from the early to mid-1990s). I initially expected this to be derivative, but actually find it quite inspired. Production is raw (but bass is audible), instrumental proficiency is evident, songs are dynamic, and synths are tasteful. This rips! Favorite track: Und d Korybante tanzed in Sturm.
